Lisa Kushner opened the studio in July 2019 to provide an alternative to studios and gyms that feature an athletic style of yoga. She specializes in teaching yoga to adults who want to improve their strength, agility, and balance to foster lifelong well-being. The Yoga Path welcomes new students of all body types, ages, and levels of ability, from absolute beginner to advanced practitioner, to a refuge where they can grow through self-discovery in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
A retired librarian who grew up in Charlotte, she has called Kernersville home since 1983. Students are drawn to her calming voice and mindful, adaptive style of yoga. She is a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher with over 500 hours of training, including a certification in Yoga for Healthy Aging, and is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence.
