About Lisa

Lisa Kushner opened the studio in July 2019 to provide an alternative to studios and gyms that feature an athletic style of yoga. She specializes in teaching adults who want to improve/maintain their strength, agility, and balance as they age. The Yoga Path welcomes new students of all body types, ages, and levels of ability, from the absolute beginner to the advanced practitioner. Lisa strives to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where all students grow through self-discovery.

A retired librarian who grew up in Charlotte, she has called Kernersville home since 1983. Students are drawn to her calming voice and mindful, adaptive style of yoga. She is a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher with over 500 hours of training, including a certification in Yoga for Healthy Aging, and is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence. ​Whether it's your first or your thousandth step, let Lisa assist you on your yoga journey.​
